India Vs England: An edge of the seat thriller:- The first test between India and England is happening in Chennai and it is taking enough turns. England dominated completely in their first innings and they scored 578. After landing in pressure, Indian batsmen could not stand before the pace of English bowlers. India managed to get 337 in their first innings and landed into troubles. In a sudden surprise, the English batsmen tumbled down in their second innings for 178 placing a target of 420 in their second innings. Ravichandran Ashwin's magical spell of 6/61 helped Team India to restrict England for a low score.
Shahbaz Nadeem (2/66), Ishant Sharma (1/24), Jasprit Bumrah (1/26) have been decent among the Indian bowlers. Joe Root (40), Ollie Pope (28) and Dom Bess (25) are the top scorers for the England side in their second innings. Chasing a target of 420, India lost an early wicket in their second innings. Rohit Sharma is gone for 12 and Team India managed to score 39 for the loss of one wicket by the end of fourth day. Shubman Gill (15) and Cheteshwar Pujara (12) are the at the crease. Team India should face the English bowlers on 5th day and stand strong to take the test to a draw. Chasing 381 more in their 90 overs is not an easy task. The first test between India and England took many turns.
