First T20: India Beat Australia By 11 Runs:- After a bad defeat in the one-day series, Team India is fighting with Australia in the T20 series. The first T20 between India and Australia took place today in Manuka Oval. Australia won the toss and elected to field in the first match. India started off on a promising note but soon lost trace after the middle order batsmen failed to stand strong. India managed to get 161 for the loss of seven wickets in their 20 overs. KL Rahul (51), Ravindra Jadeja (44 not out) and Sanju Samson (23) are the top scorers for the side. Moises Henriques (3/22), Mitchell Starc (2/34) and Adam Zampa (1/20) have been good among the Australian bowlers.
Chasing a decent total, Australia looked promising during the start. Indian bowlers dominated the show in the last six overs and Australia lost quick wickets and ended up losing the match by 11 runs. The team scored 150 for the loss of 7 wickets in their final run. Aaron Finch (35), D'Arcy Short (34) and Moises Henriques (30) are the top scorers for the side. Yuzvendra Chahal (3/25), T Natarajan (3/30) and Deepak Chahar (1/29) have been good among the Indian bowlers. Yuzvendra Chahal has been named as the Player of the Match for taking wickets at the crucial time. The second T20 match will take place on Sunday.
