First ODI: Australia Beat India By 66 Runs

First ODI: Australia Beat India By 66 Runs:- India is touring in Australia after the completion of the IPL 2020 season. The first one-day international commenced in SCG today. Australia won the toss and elected to bat first. The team registered a massive score of 374 for the loss of six wickets in their 50 overs. Aaron Finch (114) and Steve Smith (105) are the top scorers for the side and David Warner (69) started off on an impressive note. The team dominated the Indian bowlers and registered a huge total. Mohammed Shami (3/59) was decent among Indian bowlers while all the others have been expensive.

Team India could not withstand the pressure and chase the huge total. Though they started off on an impressive note, the middle order tumbled down and India lost the match by 66 runs. Team India scored 308 for the loss of eight wickets in their 50 overs. Hardik Pandya (90) and Shikar Dhawan (74) brought enough hopes but the match turned out after they lost their wickets. Adam Zampa (4/54) managed to get most of the wickets and Josh Hazlewood (3/55) was impressive. Mitchell Starc (1/65) was decent. Steve Smith has been named as the Player of the match and the second ODI will take place on November 29th.
