IPL 2020: Dhoni and Kohli Likely to Undergo Doping Tests:- Despite of the wave of coronavirus all over the world, the biggest cricket season IPL 2020 is all set to commence next month in UAE. IPL 2020 is undoubtedly the biggest sports event of the year as most of them are canceled for the year due to the coronavirus pandemic. All the players who reached Dubai are under home quarantine for two weeks. National Anti Doping Agency (NADA) has already finalized its program for the tournament. All the franchises reached UAE and the tournament starts on September 19th and will continue till November 10th. NADA will set up five Dope Control Stations in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). One each will be placed in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. The other two will be set up in ICC Academy in Dubai and Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

Navin Agarwal, NADA director general informed that the tests would be conducted at the playing venues. 50 samples of the cricketers will be collected during the tournament. Along with the urine samples, the blood samples too will be collected. There are talks that star Indian cricketers MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma may be present in the list of 50 cricketers. Three different teams of NADA will be traveling to UAE soon and the arrangements are currently being made. All these teams will be tested for coronavirus. They will be tested once again upon their arrival in UAE. All the franchises will stay in bio-secure bubbles and once they move into the bubbles, they will not be allowed to move out till the end of the tournament.
