First Defeat for Team India in World Cup:- Team India has been unstoppable in the ongoing Cricket World Cup in England. India which is second on the chart fought with England yesterday. England won the toss and elected to bat first. They dominated completely with the bat and made 337/7 in 50 overs. Jonny Bairstow (111), Ben Stokes (79) and Jason Roy (66) have been the top scorers for the team. Mohammed Shami (5/69), Jasprit Bumrah (1/44) and Kuldeep Yadav (1/72) grabbed the wickets. Every Indian bowler went expensive with the ball.
Chasing a huge target of 338, Team India struggled right from the first ball. Rohit Sharma slammed English bowlers with a knock of 102. Virak Kohli (66) supported well and Hardik Pandya (45) did his job. India managed to score 306/5 in 50 overs. Liam Plunkett (3/55), Chris Woakes (2/58) were super successful with the ball. With this victory, England has fair chances to make it to the semi-finals. Pakistan and Sri Lanka's hopes got vanished.
