The Delhi - Andhra Ranji Trophy match will mark the last game of Gautam Gambhir. This will bring an end to a glorious chapter of Indian cricket. Gautam Gambhir and Virendar Sehwag have been named as the best and destructive opening pair of world cricket.
“The most difficult decisions are often taken with the heaviest of hearts. And with one heavy heart, I’ve decided to make an announcement that I’ve dreaded all my life” posted Gambhir on his official twitter handle. The 37-year-old cricketer lost his place in Indian team in 2016. He played his last test in 2016 and for ODIs it was in 2013. However Gautam Gambhir contributed enough for Delhi and was leading Kolkata Knightriders for IPL. Gautam Gambhir deserves a standing ovation on his exit from cricket.
