Team India Retains Asia Cup: Beats Bangladesh In A Last Ball Thriller:- Team India battled with Bangladesh in the Asia Cup 2018 final and ended up winning the match in the last ball with three wickets left. Bangladesh batted first and they were all out for 222 in 48.3 overs. Team India chased 223 in 50 overs and retained the Asia Cup. Liton Das's maiden hundred made Bangladesh reach a decent total. Das scored 117 in 121 balls. Even after a strong opening partnership of 120, Bangladesh failed to stand tall and ended up contributing 222.

Rohit Sharma started off with a bang and made 55 of 48 deliveries. Dinesh Karthik (37) and MS Dhoni (36) have been decent and soon after they lost their wickets, victory seemed towards the side of Bangladesh. Ravindra Jadeja (23) and Bhuvenshwar Kumar (21) spoiled the plans of Bangladesh and made India chase the total. Kedar Jadhav completed the innings and he was left 23 not out.

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma revealed that they played good cricket and hence they managed to end up winning the title. Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Mortza lauded the efforts by his team and congratulated Team India.
