Legendary Indian Cricketer Ajit Wadekar Is No More:- Legendary Indian cricket captain Ajit Wadekar who has been a part of several historic wins passed away today at a Mumbai hospital. He has been struggling for life from some time and is 77 years old. He left the country with a series of victories against West Indies and England in 1971. He is survived by his wife Rekha and two sons, a daughter. He has been rushed to a private hospital in Mumbai and he has been declared dead on arrival.
His family members revealed that his last rites would be performed on Friday. Ajit Wadekar was critically unwell from some time and is undergoing treatment. Ajit Wadekar was the first ODI captain for the country and he scored 2113 runs his Test career. Ajit Wadekar worked as a Team Manager for India during 90s. Several Indian cricketers expressed their condolences for the family of the legendary cricketer. Rest in Peace Ajit Wadekar.
