Cauvery Dispute: CSK Games To Be Shifted From Chennai:- Despite of strict warning from Tamil Nadu leaders and politicians, the IPL matches of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) took place in Chepauk Stadium, Chennai. A close sources of CSK team confirmed the news and the official update would be out soon. The widespread protests going on in the city due to the Cauvery water issue is the problem informed sources.  Yesterday, some of the protestors threw shoes on the cricketers which created a huge stir and couple of people have been arrested in the stadium.

Considering the extreme situations and the intensity of the protests, IPL matches will not be conducted in Chennai. Pro-Tamil groups like Tamizhaga Vazhvurimai Katchi (TVK) have been boycotting IPL matches in Chennai after the state has been completely ignored in the Cauvery issue. Despite of tight security, unusual situations took place and the team of CSK is not in a mood to take any risks. All the seven matches will be played on an other venue which will be decided soon.
