India Beat Bangladesh By Nine Wickets In ICC Champions Trophy:- India won against Bangladesh by easily reaching the target of 265 runs in 40.1 overs by just losing one wicket at Edgbaston, Burmingham.
On Sunday, June 18, India will be playing finals against Pakistan at Kennington Oval, London.
A good innings were played by Rohit Sharma with 123 runs in 129 balls. Virat Kohli partnered with him and made 96 runs in 78 balls. The partnership made a total of 178 runs. Shikhar Dhawan played well and got out at 46 runs (34). His wicket was taken over by Bangladesh Skipper, Mortaza.
Rohit Sharma said, “I was determined to get a big one this time. After playing a few overs initially, it was like you making a mistake and getting out.”
Bangladesh had an initial breakthrough, but could not stop runs and break the partnership between Kohli and Rohit Sharma. Kohli was in good form and played his classic shots.
Bangladesh skipper, Mashrafe Mortaza said “We have some youngsters who have no experience, but we also have some experienced players. We will have to work on it in the next game.”
Though there were a few easy runs, the bowlers came back and could take wickets and restrain runs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Bumrah took two wickets each. Jadeja and Jadhav took one wicket each.
