If I get opportunity, I will play for India again- Yuvraj Singh

Yuvraj Singh, the ex cricketer of Indian cricket team seems not liking the tag called ‘Ex’ and so is saying that, if he gets an opportunity, he wants to come back and play for India again.

Yuvraj Singh was last seen playing in the T20 World Cup in Bangladesh in 2014. In the finals, India lost the match for Sri Lanka and Yuvraj Singh just scored 11 runs, which could not help the team anyway.

Sachin made me refocus on cricket- Yuvraj Singh

Speaking on the issue, Yuvraj Singh said that, a conversation with Sachin Tendulkar made me refocus on the game. “Just want to play and enjoy my cricket.”

“When I was speaking to Sachin last year, he said that, the most important thing is to play for India but don’t forget to enjoy the game.”

“As young kids we always played the game to enjoy it, we never knew that we were going to play for India. I enjoy playing cricket and it was always my passion as a young kid, so as long as I am enjoying it, I want to play,” Yuvraj said.

Yuvraj said that, he is looking forward for the ongoing season to impress the selectors. Yuvraj replaced Harbhajan Singh, upon the latter’s absence in the first match and will do the same in the second game against Mumbai, which is going to be started on  Wednesday.

India is going to host the T20 Cup in March-April of next year. So that there might be a chance for Yuvraj Singh, to give his re-entry.

Speaking about this, Yuvraj said, “Be it T20 or 50 overs match, game is always a game. Though I love to play in the World Cup, right now, I cannot think about it and I am only concerned about how my game is going and how can I improve.”
