Harbhajan Singh, India's senior off-spinner is all set to marry his long time lover Geetha Basra finally.

The close sources intimated that the wedding ceremony will be held in Jalandhar, Punjab, on October 29.

"During his visit to Jalandhar last month, Bhajji gave me a verbal invitation and asked me to be ready for his marriage on October 29," an unnamed Congress leader was quoted.

The hotel booking for the marriage event was already been done, but to make all his fans surprise, he asked the hotel management to keep the issue confidential.

Speaking about Harbhajan, Geetha Basra said, “He is a very strong-headed person and that shows on-screen (in matches)... He got success at an early age and still he is so grounded and humble. He loves his game. I want to learn that from him.”

Reacting about the marriage news, Geetha said, “Whenever that (marriage) happens, everyone will come to know. It's really upsetting as every time there are rumors going around about my marriage. It is not like I am hiding anything. Whenever it happens we will tell (the media)."

Harbhajan Singh is currently involved in the 3-Test series in Sri Lanka. Harbhajan skipped the second test match, which was held on August 20th, though he played the opening test in Galle.
