Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his wife Sakshi are blessed with a baby girl on Friday evening. Dhoni has confirmed this update to the media in Australia on Saturday morning. “Yes, I have been blessed with a baby daughter, Both mom and child are fine,” said Dhoni but added that he has no plans to go back to home for few days. “No, I am on national duty. World Cup is important for me and I rather be here,” replied Dhoni when asked about paying a visit to India.
Few days prior to yesterday, Sakshi was admitted at a private hospital in Gurgaon and the new born baby weighs 3.7 kgs according to sources. Dhoni had been keeping a close of eye of Sakshi's health and other stuff while the family of Dhoni is completely with her. Just ahead of ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, this is a good news for Dhoni but he has a lot to do to defend the title.
