West Indies star opener Chris Gayle announced his baby’s name as ‘Blush’, posting a picture of himself and his wife on Instagram to welcome “the arrival” of his “beautiful daughter 'Blush' to this world”.
If one can recollect, a few months back, Gayle was in a controversy, after he allegedly tried to flirt with a female reporter on live TV.
Gayle after 41 runs off 15 balls in Australia's Big Bash, was interviewed by Ten Network reporter Mel McLaughlin. It was then, the cricketer asked the presenter out for a date.
Gayle during the interview said that, he was happy to be interviewed by McLaughlin, “just to see your eyes for the first time”. “Nice, so hopefully we can win this game and we can have a drink after," he said. "Don't blush baby," the Jamaican added, prompting the unimpressed McLaughlin to shake her head and reply, "I'm not blushing."
After his comments created a huge stir in the cricket world, Big Bash team The Melbourne Renegades fined Gayle for $7000.
Gayle then used the word ‘Blush’ and who speculated that the same controversial word then, would turn his baby’s name one day.
