Balupu movie is released worldwide today. The movie that is worked out by the Director Gopichand Malineni to pave way to hero Ravi Teja to come back to his position of mass entertainer worked well. He showed the hero the way his fans like him to see who in turn entertained throughout the movie. Shruti Hasan is shown in her best glamourous angle for the first time on Telugu screen and she reached the expectations of the viewers.

Story :
The story is split into two parts because of Prakash Raj’s double role. Two identical brothers enacted by Prakash Raj one at Bangalore who is a sophisticated brother and another at Vizag who runs a mafia there. Two heroines Shruti and Anjali are daughters of Bangalore and Vizag. Ravi Teja who works as Balupu Shankar for Prakash Raj at Vizag falls in love with Anjali. But Prakash Raj who doesn’t like it sends Anjali away from India. In order to know the whereabouts of Anjali, Ravi Teja goes to Hyderabad and makes advances to Shruti. The twist is, Anjali was really missing and even her father goes in search of her. Adavi Sesh played Anjali’s brother. Ashutosh Rana played as villain to cause action sequences. The way Anjali is found is something to see on the screen to get maximum benefit of the visual presentation and tempo maintained.
Analysis :
Director of the film Gopichand Malineni made the movie a thorough entertainer. Acting talents of Ravi Teja, Brahmanandam and Prakash Raj are utilized by the director in an appropriate way. Shruti Hasan as expected showed a good skin show to allure the audience. The story gets interesting after the twists before interval. Some mimicries like that of Ravi Teja as Balakrishna and Pawan Kalyan were good enough to watch and enjoy.
Performance :
Ravi Teja acted, danced and fought with the villains in an appealing way. Shruti and Anjali acted and justified their roles. Shruti made liberal revelations of her natural beauty. Ravi Teja and Anjali’s chemistry worked out very well. Thaman’s music which already received good response is used in the movie at the right places to get right effect. Dances and fights are good to watch. Dialogues of Kona Venkat are apt and entertaining. Ravi Teja showed his energy good timing in acting as he always does.
Final Word: Balupu is a thorough entertainer. It can be watched for the element of entertainment through Ravi Teja's electrifying acting throughout the movie and sparkling beauty of Shruti Hasan.
