Break helps even if it is for a minute

It is a known factor that continuous working with the same routine may lead to many disorders like back pain, strained eyes and stress on the minds.  That is why adequate breaks are prescribed like lunch and tea breaks.  Break is actually used to break the routine that helps a person from possible repetitive strain injury.  

In addition to the normal breaks, small and tiny breaks also help a person even if it is a one minute break.  Sometimes we stop the work on hand for some time to think squarely.  We may also close our eyes for a moment to remember something or to choose a proper word to use in our speech.  The same way tiny breaks also help a person to gather energies and mental faculties.

A wish from a colleague or a friend or a text message also serves as a tiny break.  But it is up to you to make the best use of it.  If you qualify it as a disturbance, then it will do more harm than benefit.  

Serious working does not mean that one should not have proper breaks.  Main lunch break and other breaks including small ones as above if properly used, certainly gives a favorable impact on the working.  But one should not carry away with the theme of the break.  Instead of it one should use it and allow one’s body and mind to recoup from the fatigue forming in the human system and continue with the work.   After all the breaks are only to help the work but not to distract from it.
