The famous Toronto international film festival has begun yesterday. And this time there's so much for Indians to know about this film festival since 15 films produced by Indian film makers are all set to be screened at the 37th Toronto international film festival. Out of 15 cinemas, two of them hogged the limelight-Reluctant Fundamentalist and Midnight's Children, which were directed by NRI film makers Mira Nair and Deepa Mehta respectively.
Notably, English Vinglish would also be screened at the film festival. Yesteryear top actress Sridevi made a come back with English Vinglish, which revolves around a village woman who tries and masters English language. This movie would be screened on September 14. Also, 10 films would be screened in City to City section including Gangs of Wasseypur I and II, Ishaqzaade and Peddlers.
