The American Telugu Association's (ATA's) 12th annual convention has begun on a grand note today at Atlanta. Several prominent personalities from different walks of life are going to take part in the three-day meeting. Former cricketer and MP Azharuddin, actress Ileana, minister DK Aruna and Sridhar Babu have already reached Atlanta to take part in the convention.

Notably, music director Taman and actress Sneha Ullal are going to be  major attractions at ATA's convention. Taman will perform a musical night—Taralu Digivachina Vela. Minister of State for Defence, Pallam Raju is also scheduled to take part in the gala event. Notably, the three day event will host several cultural programmes besides seminars on burning issues. ATA welcomed all Telugu people in residing in the United States for taking part in the 12th convention.
