The North American Telugu Association’s first convention is scheduled to take place on June 29, 30 and July 1 at Houston of Texas. The show, which is expected to be a spectacular one, will aim at bringing all Telugus in US to have a good time. Notably, NATA is reportedly spending $1.3 million for making the event a grand one.
Right from breakfast to dinner, Telugu food right out of fire will make everyone go gaga after a longtime. The huge George R. Brown Convention Centre, where the event will take place, will be decorated in such a way that it is expected to take one back to Telugu town the moment he/she enters the hall.
Sprawled across 2 million square feet, the convention hall is going to be a right place for all Telugus to meet and exchange their memories of Telugu land. While two huge dining rooms are getting ready (where yummy Telugu food will be served), over 130 vendors are gearing up for setting up their stall at the exhibition hall. Food apart, young talent are all set to pull up their sox as they can show case their cultural art—be it dance or song or anything—on two stages that are getting ready for the convention.
Everyone is welcome to take part in this event and one can get the detailed information on this by visiting the website of NATA. (Phani)
