Preparation of Anaar Raita

Pomegranate is one of the healthy fruit, rich in antioxidants. It promotes many health benefits to a human body by lowering cholesterol, blood pressure, melts heart blockages etc. Apart from eating raw, it can also be consumed in a different way by preparing raita with curd. It taste unique and will be most loved dessert if once tasted. As both curd and pomegranate has very good nutritional values, it offers good health. Here is the simple preparation of the Anaar raita. Prepare it at your home and enjoy its unique taste.


Pomegranate Seeds - 2 cups
Curd - 3 cups,
Onions - 2,
Green Chillies - 3,
Salt as per taste,
Coriander Leaves - little,
Mint Leaves – little

Method of preparing Pomegranate Raita:

Take fresh and thick curd in a bowl.
Mix chopped onions, green chillies to the curd and mix well.
Just before ready to serve, add the pomegranate seeds, mint leaves and coriander leaves.
Stir once or twice.
Serve at once.

TIP: For different taste you can even add a pinch of cumin powder and red chilli powder to the above mixture.
