PV Sindhu Nominated For Padmabhushan:- PV Sindhu turned out to be an inspiration for many young athletes across the country. The ace badminton player went on to win Silver medal in Olympics last year and her success streak continued. She recently emerged as the first Indian shuttler to win Korean Open title. PV Sindhu has been nominated for the prestigious Padmabhushan award by Sports Ministry of India. The Sports Ministry revealed the news today in an official statement.
PV Sindhu is the second Indian athlete to be named for Padmabhushan after Indian cricketer MS Dhoni. Earler Dhoni was nominated by BCCI after India won ICC World T20 Cup in 2011. The 22-year old shuttler has been in homogenous form and has been cracking many titles. PV Sindhu is being trained by Pullela Gopichand in Hyderabad. PV Sindhu expressed her happiness on the nomination and thanked Sports Ministry for the nomination.
