Riding on Rahul Chaudhry’s great performance in the second half, Telugu Titans managed to level the game after trailing by 9 points in the first half of 45th game of Star Sports Pro Kabaddi League 2016 on Thursday at Dome@NSCI SVP stadium in Mumbai.

In the points table, U Mumba with scoring 35 points from 6 wins in 11 games are at 4th spot whereas Telugu Titans with winning 8 games and scoring 40 points are at 3rd spot.

In the first half, with the help of Rahul Chaudhry, Titans were leading the score 3-0 at the third minute. After eight minutes Rahul Chaudhry extended the lead to 6-2 but before that Rakesh Kumar scored his first raid point to open U Mumba’s account. In the 11th minute, taking the big leap forward, U Mumba’s defense helped them to level the score at 6-6. U Mumba scored their first all out on Titans at 17th minute getting a lead of 13-7. As Rahul Chaudhry failed to score points, the whole Titans team was trailing 7-16 at the end of the first half.

In the second half, Telugu Titans played incredibly well and Rahul Chaudhry scoring back to abck raid points and an all out in the 28th minute came close to U Mumba’s score as the scoreboard read 16-17. However, in the 31st minute, U Mumba scored a point and maintained a point lead with score of 18-17. At the 37th minute Rishank Devadiga scored two raid points as U Mumba was trailing 20-23. At the 39th minute, U Mumba got rid of Rahul Chaudhry to level the score at 24-24. Prapanjan tried his luck in the last minutes to get a point as both the teams were leveled at 25-25, but the game ended on a tie as he couldn’t do so.
