Countering at the last stages of the game and some quality performance from the star raider Pradeep Narwal, Patna Pirates managed to register their their consecutive victory of the fourth edition of Star Sports Pro Kabaddi League as they beat Telugu Titans 35-33 in Match 15 at Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad.

Patna Pirated after staying unbeaten are now at 3rd spot in the points table with 15 points in their account while the Telugu Titans are at the bottom of the table with bagging only 3 points.  

From Patna Pirates their raider Pradeep Narwal again opened the account after four empty raids by both the teams and scored 4 other raids with in 10 minutes. But Rahul Chaudhary and Sandeep Narwal’s quality play managed to level the score at 8-8 at the 12th minute. As Pradeep got out at the 16th minute, Titans using the advantage played brilliantly and took a lead of 6 important points as both the teams went into break at 19-13.

Telugu Titans’ skipper Rahul Chaudhary scored again just after the break and it was looking Titans’ game but Pirated countered outstandingly by scoring two back to back super tackles. They revived back Pradeep after first super tackle and managed to cut the deficit to 3 points with the second.

Responding to Titans two super tackles to obtain the seven-point lead, Pirates scored their first all out of the game at 37th minute. At the end, Rajesh Mondal scored three raid points and registered the win against Titans 35-33.

Rahul Choudhary, leading from the front, scored 11 points in the game. However, others could not capitalize on their leader’s performance and Telugu Titans lost to Patna Pirates at their home.
