Ice Divas managed to beat Storm Queens by 28-15 in match 2 of the first season of Star Sports Women’s Pro Kabaddi League at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Thursday and registered their first win of the season.

In the second half, learning from the mistakes of the first half, Sakshi Kumari tried to minimize the damage but without full support from the struggling skipper of Storm Queens Tejaswini Kumar, her efforts went in vain and Ice Divas, by taking huge lead, won the match, eventually.

Earlier in the first half, disastrous performance from the Storm Queens raiders Tejaswini Bai and Sakshi Kumari harmed the whole team as they could only managed to bag 3 points in the first half as Divas went to break with 10-9 lead.

Ice Divas skipper Abhilasha Mhatre played outstandingly by scoring nine much needed raid points which just turned the game towards Ice Divas as Storm Queen defender could not hold on to Divas’ defenders.
