Renault Kiger launched in India, priced at Rs 5.45 Lakh:- Renault Kiger got its launch in India and it is priced at Rs 5.45 lakhs. This happens to be the first compact SUV from Renault and it comes with four trim levels and four engine-gearbox combinations. The bookings for Renault Kiger are opened today in the country. There are two engine options for Renault Kiger: 72hp, petrol and a 100hp, turbo-petrol. Renault Kiger has two gearbox choices with a 5-speed manual, AMT and a 5-step CVT. Renault Kiger comes with 3991mm in length, 1750mm in width and 1600mm in height. It also has 2500mm long wheelbase. Renault Kiger also claimed to have the largest class 405-litre boot space. It sports a sculpted bonnet and a large front grille with LED headlight setup. It also comes with a small spoiler and aluminium skid plate.

Renault Kiger is available in six colour options: White, Planet Grey, Ice Cool, Moonlight Grey, Mahogany Brown, Caspian Blue, Radiant Red. It comes with an 8.0-inch touchscreen which is mounted high on the centre of the dashboard. Renault Kiger misses the sunroof which is now offered for most of the cars on the high-end version. The turbo-petrol engine is rated at 20kmpl by ARAI. Renault Kiger is launched as a competitor for Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Ford Ecosporrt, Maruti Brezza and Toyota Urban Cruiser.
