The pre-sales have been outstanding and Ola Electric CEO Bhavish Aggarwal today announced that the Ola Electric scooter will be launched on August 15th in the Indian market. The pricing structure of the product will be announced at a later date. The bookings were opened in July and the Ola Electric said that the response has been overwhelming. The pre-bookings of Ola Electric scooter are opened in July for a refundable amount of Rs 499 through the online portal of Ola. More than one lakh orders are placed in less than a day. Ola Electric scooter will be available in ten colours and the scooter will be delivered directly to homes. Ola Electric scooter looks class and trendy. It can travel for around 150 kilometers on a single charge and the maximum speed would be around 100 kmph. Ola Electric scooter is manufactured in its plant in Tamil Nadu and it is said to be the world's largest electric scooter plant and can produce 10 million units per annum.
