Income Tax Filing Deadline Extended

Income Tax Filing Deadline Extended:- Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman today announced that the government of India extended the deadline for Income tax filing to June 30th, 2020 for the financial year 2018-19. The date for Aadhar and PAN Card linking too has been extended to June 30th. Niramala Sitharaman announced that the GST returns filing dates for March, April and May will be extended to June 30th. For all the companies with a turnover of Rs 5 crores, there would be no late fee or penalty charges.

Nirmala Sitharaman said that several other deadlines for the financial schemes are extended to June 30th. The debit card usages charges will be waived off and the minimum balance criteria for bank accounts too are waived off in this period said the Finance Minister. All the debit card holders can withdraw their cash from any ATM and there would be no charges. All the new incorporate firms would get six months time aditionally who are required to file their declaration of business within six months.
