Facebook Invests 1 Million USD On Computer Education

Facebook Invests 1 Million USD On Computer Education:- Networking giant Facebook announced an investment of 1 million USD in CodePath.org a day after facebook was criticized by a former employee for 'black people problem'. The amount has been invested on computer education among minorities and women. CodePath.org is a non profit company based in USA that provides computer education to the minority students and females across various universities in the country.

"Today, we're excited to announce that Facebook has invested $1 Million in CodePath.org to help us expand from serving 400 students to over 1000 per semester in the next year," Michael Ellison, Founder at CodePath.org told through his blog. Facebook wants the fund to be used for the underrepresented communities and fill the gap between them and the computer jobs. This will be sure a great opportunity to several enthusiasts. Mark Luckie, former strategic partner manager for global influencers at Facebook, accused the tech giant of having a "black people problem".
