Apple's Tim Cook to donate all his wealth

Fortune magazine cited the head of the world's largest technology corporation as saying that he planned to leave all his wealth to charities and good causes after paying for his 10-year-old nephew's college tuition.

As per Fortune, based on his holdings of Apple stock, Cook's estimated net worth is about $120 million. He also holds restricted stock worth $665 million if it were to be fully vested.

In the interview given to the magazine that will feature next month, Cook shared his thoughts and said that he wants to have a serious approach on Philanthropy with a different game plan altogether rather than simply be sitting and writing cheques.

“You want to be the pebble in the pond that creates the ripple for change,” he told Fortune.

Lisa was Apple's office computer that was the first personal computer to use a graphical user interface. It was a commercial flop, largely because it retailed for a whopping $10,000.

NeXT Station was a workstation computer manufactured by NeXT, a computer company Steve Jobs founded in 1985 after he was forced out of Apple. After Apple acquired NeXT in 1996, Jobs rejoined Apple.

Apple I was Apple's first computer, which became obsolete within a year. Today, they are auctioned off as collector's items.
