It is for the sixth time in a row Mukesh Ambani stood on top in the list of 100 richest persons of India as published by Forbes Magazine from New York. With a net worth of $21 Billion (Rs.129150 crores in Indian Rupees), Mukesh Ambani has taken the top position for the 6th consecutive year followed by Lakhsmi Mittal with $16 Billion (Rs.98400 crores).
Dilip Sanghwi of Sun Pharma came to third position pushing Premji of Wipro to fourth.
The total networth of 100 richest persons is $259 Billion (Rs.15,92,850 crores) which rose by 3% over last year. The rise is not due to 1st and 2nd richest persons but because of Shanghi of Pharmaceutical industry and Premji who is in fourth position.
Vijay Malya who was in 73rd position last year came down to 84 this year because of Kingfisher Airlines affair.
