India enters into agreement with China to develop railways

The Government of India has entered in to an agreement with China to develop railways. As per the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), this pact enables both the countries to cooperate each other  in terms of technology and know-how. The technology include high speed rail and station development too. Also, both these countries would even exchange training programmes and policies.

Infrastructure Working Group, which was constituted under India-China Strategic Economic Dialogue-would carry out the future cooperation between these countries. While Railway Board chairman became the authorized signatory, Wang Zhiguo, vice minister of railways in China signed on the pact. This agreement would be in charge for next five years.

It is known that China is famous in terms of bullet trains. Now that an MoU was signed, Indian Railway is most likely to induct bullet trains in our country soon.
