Soon after the American President Barrack Obama had been confirmed the president for the second term, the nation burst out with joy congratulating Obama on his re-election in the neck to neck competition between Obama vs Romney for the White House.
However, the same cannot be said for the foreign trading market, forex trading, as the value of dollar has depreciated slightly against Euro and Yen.
In Tokyo, Euro has gained to $1.2869 against the dollar which is a big up compared to the $1.2788 yesterday. The green currency was also low against yen trading at 80.03 as opposed to 80.34 in New York.
Indian currency has also gained slightly against the dollar by 24 paise as it climbed to 54.19 against it.
Possible expectations of a continuous capital influx due to foreign funds into the share market could have boost the value of the rupee. BSE had also recovered from the initial Sensex losses pegging at 95 points higher than usual in the morning trade.
