Man sues Company for Paying him without doing any Work:- Working in an environment that is healthy and positive is the need of the hour. This brings a lot of growth in every individual. A man from Dublin in Ireland sued his company for paying him a huge money and making him do nothing at work. The man is identified as Dermot Alastair Mills and he is an employee of Irish Rail. Dermot Alastair Mills works as a Finance Manager and earns Rs 1.03 crores anually. He spends time at work reading newspaper along with eating sandwiches and taking walks. He said that he receives no emails at work and he has no colleagues to communicate. His daily routine is to reach the office, go into the cubicle, turn on the computer and check for emails.
Dermot Alastair Mills goes to office for two days in a week and he returns home early as there would be no work. It all began after he blew whistle on the accounting. He was promoted in 2010 and he was forced to take a sick leave for three months. He was given the same status, salary and seniority at work on his return from the sick leave. Dermot Alastair Mills says that his skills are not used. In a response, the company said that he was not penalized even after he turned a whistle-blower at work. Feeling restless, Dermot Alastair Mills sued his company.
