It seems, 2015 was a breath of fresh air for transgenders across the country.
 
A transgender was appointed as the principal in a college in Kolkatta. Even a transgender became the first to receive Rajyotsava award from the government of Karnataka and NALSAR University gave away it’s first gender neutral degree.

Here is another forward step regarding the transgenders. Popular singer, Sonu Nigam sang India’s first ever transgender band, called 6 pack band. Watching them singing their own version, will surely be loved by many.
