Being topless in India is absolutely a crime and the people who perform it, will be put behind the bars with no delay.
   
It is our body and how can the laws or the government has rights on our own body? If this is argument, you can win in New York state and city.



Yes, being topless is legal in New York. In fact it is not only top less. For the sake of art, you can even be completely nude, which is legal again.
