Giant Rabbit diet costs Rs 20,000 per month

Rabbits, bunnies, hares and all related animals are cute with their cleft lips and carrot stealing habits right? No, some are not cute, they are gigantic. Imagine a rabbit weighing 55 pounds, that is almost 25 Kgs in metric system, that is what we are looking at when we said giant.

Only 4 years old, a Continental Giant in UK, Ralph, was recently named the largest rabbit by the Guinness World Records. In 2010, there was another rabbit that originally held the record, Fairfax News reported.

Big bodies need lot of food and so does this bunny. It feasts on $90 worth of food, that includes a rich and nutritious diet of cabbage, broccolo, corn on the cob, half cucumber, one carrot, sweet corn, brown bread, 2 slices, two apples, half bag or water cress and crackers.

Pauline Grant, the owner of the pet monster rabbit says that Ralph is mature now and weighs more than he has ever weighted in his life. With the donations he receives from the visitors, Pauline feeds the ginormous rabbit that you wouldn't believe to be a rabbit unless we told you so.

Ralph's health is currently fine and healthy. His genetic history also has bigger physiques. His mom was once the same record holder after acquiring the record from his dad. Four years ago, Amy, Ralph's mother died of hearth attack.
