A couple in Thailand have kissed for more than two days without parting their lips even for pee breaks, food or water. The record was a part of the contest for world's longest smooch on Valentine's Day.
The couple, a hospital security guard Ekkachai Tiranarat, 44, and Laksana, 33, were lip locked for 58 hours, 35 minutes and 58 seconds before they moved away from each other bagging the Guinness World Record easily. They recorded eight more hours on the clock than the previous record making it far more easy for the judges. The best part is that they had been standing for the whole time, slurping food and liquids through a straw and even had to pee standing while not letting go of each other.
The Kissathon was a close call with the last years champions taking part again but losing only two minutes before the winning couple.
Well, I would have kissed for the prize myself, a whopping 100,000 baht ($3,300) in cash and two diamond rings.
There will not be another contest in Thailand, which has been the the record holder for three years straight, until another country challenges them with a better record.
