Fresh Heavy Rains in Hyderabad:- According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Hyderabad is expecting fresh rains from August 18th due to the low pressure in the Bay of Bengal. IMD has issued yellow alerts in various parts of the Telangana state, mainly in the east and west parts.

Asifabad, Mancherial, Peddapallli, Bhupalpallu, Mulugu, Warangal, Hanmakonda, Mahbubabad and Kothagudem will receive heavy rains. Other districts in the state will see moderate rainfall.

Hyderabad will receive moderate to heavy rainfall in the coming four days and the weather will be hazy during the morning hours. Weather forecasts also predicted thunderstorms, lighting, etc. In isolated places, the city is going to see more rainfall in the next three days. Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS) has also given the report for the coming three days' rains to the state officials.

Telangana has received excess rainfall this year. This year TS has an average of 585.33 mm whereas compared to previous years, the rainfall is only 482.7 mm on average every year.

In Hyderabad, the highest deviation was recorded at Charminar with 44 percent.

Because of El Nino, all the states in the country are seeing excessive rainfall and floods caused because of rainwater.
