NTR Coin will be unveiled by the President of India:- On 28th of August, President of India Droupadi Murmu will unveil the legendary actor and former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh’s Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR) commemorative coin with a face of Rs 100 coin, as the tribute to the legendary actor.
The coin will have the portrait of NTR and this will mark the centenary celebrations of the iconic leader. The unveiling ceremony will be held in Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi on August 28th with restricted guests of 100 individuals.
NTR's daughter and Andhra Pradesh BJP president, Purandeswari has addressed a press conference and said that the Central government is honouring the enduring legacy of the NT Rama Rao garu by issuing Rs 100 coin. The Union finance minister has directed Hyderabad Mint to undertake the production of these special coins.
The unveiling coin program will be held on August 28th, 10 AM in New Delhi. NTR family members and a few other dignitaries will attend the meeting. NTR family members have already received the invitation personally asking to attend the landmark event.
