Andhra Pradesh electricity employees withdraw strike:- After the negotiations between YSRCP minister Peddireddi Ramachandra Reddy and educational minister Botsa Satyanarayana with Andhra Pradesh electricity department, the board has withdrawn the strike.

Andhra Pradesh power employees called for an indefinite strike from Thursday after the government failed to reach their expectations over salaries and employee benefits. Now the issue has been cleared with the discussions of the Energy minister and the educational minister.

APGenco MD will now fix the new pay scales. The government will form a committee along with discom CMDs under the leadership of APGenco MD. By accepting this power employees have withdrawn from the strike and this is a big relief to the YSRCP government.

Botsa Satyanarayana and Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy said that YSRCP is a pro-employee government and chief minister YS Jagan will also take good decisions. Ministers also said that the employees need to make a lot of sacrifices to save the electricity companies in the state along with the support of chief minister.

AP Transco, APGenco, EPDCL, SPEDCL officials and JAC representatives have signed the agreement papers for the approval of the PRC proposals. Employees also cleared to the media that they got a positive response from the government for all the 12 issues brought to the notice of the government.
