YS Jagan to do mass housewarming ceremony:- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan will perform a mass housewarming ceremony in the last week of August. Jagan is going to perform the ceremony for nearly 5,00,000 houses in the Samarlakota region, Kakinada district. In the other 26 districts also YS Jagan will perform similar pooja ceremonies on the same muhurtham, which is said to be on Nija Sravana Masam.

YSRCP government has spent Rs 15,810 cr only on housing programmes. The government also provided immovable properties to nearly 31 Lakh families. YS Jagan has already distributed 30 lakh housing documents in the name of women in poor families.

However, YS Jagan's one more dream project of Pedhalandhariki Illu was kept on hold with Andhra Pradesh high court orders last week.

YS Jagan government said that the new housing colonies constructed by the YSRCP government will have wide roads, underground drainages and proper power cables. The houses will have one bedroom, hall, kitchen, bathroom and Verandah, which is constructed on 340 sq ft. The government will also provide two tube lights, two fans, four bulbs and one tank.

According to the officials, 94 per cent of houses have been completed in the first phase of the project and the rest is expected to be finished by the second week of August.
