Modi Calls New Parliament, The Temple Of Democracy:- Amid high security prime minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the parliament. Thousands of policemen, closed Delhi metro lines and layers of barricades around the new parliament. Delhi was literally on high alert. As 25 dignitaries and foreign envoys along with chief ministers and ministers attended the inauguration. There was intensive patrolling across the national capital.
Narendra Modi walked into the Lok Sabha along with the historic ‘Senogal’ and placed it near the Lok Sabha speakers chair. With a special pooja along with some prayers, the new parliament inauguration happened historically between the Veda mantras.

On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation. He called the new parliament building as the aspiration of the 140 crore Indians and mentioned it as the temple of democracy.
RLJP MP from Bihar, Prince Raj has distributed one quintal laddus on this occasion. The prime minister also released the 75/- rupee coin in the new parliament.
YSRCP chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan attended the event. TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu also participated and returned back to attend the Mahanadu. Both leaders dint had eye-to-eye contact, both separately greeted Narendra Modi. While BRS skipped the event and joined the opposition parties, who banned the ceremony for not inviting the first Adivasi president Draupadi Murmu to the inauguration ceremony.
