AP Government attaches Chandrababu Naidu's Karakatta Guest House:- Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s guest house popularly known as Karakatta guest house on the banks of the Krishna River was attached by the Andhra Pradesh state government on the 15th of May by issuing a GO No 8. GO of property attachment was issued on 12 th of May by Home Department under the offences involving conspiracy, criminal breach of trust, cheating and misconduct by public servants.

Mangalagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy has raised a complaint on illegal constructions and also over the conspiracy of the Amaravathi ring road plan. A case was registered on Chandrababu Naidu as A1 and then Municipal Administration and urban development minister P Narayana as A2 under section 120(B), 409,420,34,37,166,167 and 217 of IPC, 1860 and Section 13(1)(C)(d) and (2). The case was also registered on Lingamaneni Ramesh as A3, who is the owner of the house.

AP CID has initiated to attach the property under the criminal law amendment act of 1944. By informing the local judge Andhra Pradesh government has issued the orders of attachment. AP CID also attached the assets of P Narayana, said to be benamis of Narayana property beside the building including about 75,880 sqft of land and also froze their bank accounts. The property was bought under the name of Potthuri Pramila (employee of Narayana) and treasurer Rapuri Sambasiva Rao.

In Detail, With the help of Narayana, then chief minister CBN has changed the capital region (CRDA) master plan for Lingamaneni Ramesh and in return took possession of his guest house. A government office was also constructed in the name of 'Praja Vedika'. YSRCP government has demolished ‘Praja Vedika’, which was an extension to Karakatta guest house citing the violation once they got in power.
