Vizag Steel Plant: KTR is in race for credit claim:- Telangana Industrial Minister KTR claims the credit for the Central government backing up the plans of Vizag Steel Plant privatization. KTR said after the Telangana government sent the Singareni officials team to study VSP privatization and those efforts made by BRS, the Centre stopped the plans temporarily. BRS leader trying to claim the credit even though the decision was taken by the BJP government. KTR said one decision of KCR can make an impact on the central government and halting VSP privatization is one among them. He also said that they are going to give more pressure on the central government to set up a steel plant at Bayyaram.
Union Minister Faggan Singh announced in a meeting that Vizag Steel Privatisation will not happen now and they are making plans to process the plant work at full capacity. Faggan is also said they are going to discuss with RINL’s management and union leaders regarding the same. KTR claims everything regarding this is an attention diverter. While YSRCP is busy claiming its own credit. YSRCP leader Perni Nani said YS Jagan took all efforts and met Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the same and made efforts to halt VSP privatization. The credit claim game is still on between BRS, YSRCP and BJP.
