Sharmila Questions YS Jagan's Move On NTR Health University Name Change:- The government of Andhra Pradesh decided to rename the prestigious NTR Health University in Vijayawada to YSR Health University. AP Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy and his government are left in a spot as several leaders and analysts slammed YS Jagan for his move. The opposition TDP party criticized YS Jagan for insulting a legendary personality like NTR. YS Jagan's sister and YSR Telangana party leader Sharmila took a dig on her own brother YS Jagan for taking such a step to rename NTR Health University to YSR Health University. She said that it is like insulting crores of fans of NTR. She also said that her father YSR is a popular leader and there is no need to change the name of an institution for her father and this would not make any change.

"You may rename the institution to YSR's name today. When the government changes tomorrow, they will change the name again and this would be an insult for YSR. My father YSR does not need anyone's fame and he is a leader who stays in the hearts of the Telugu people. No one enjoyed his status. 700 people died in shock after his demise" told YS Sharmila. The Assembly of Andhra Pradesh passed a Bill on September 21st to rename NTR University of Health Sciences to YSR University of Health Sciences. TDP leaders objected the move strongly in the Assembly house and the legislators were suspended and the government ignored their protests.
