KCR Chairs Meeting With Farmer Leaders Of 26 Indian States:- Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is concerned about the lives of the farmers. Farming has been affordable and accessible for many because of the new policies introduced by the government of Telangana. He met the farmer leaders several times in the past during his New Delhi visits. He also took a dig against the Centre and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for ignoring the requests of the farmers and for not offering the Minimum Standard Price for the crops. KCR chaired a meeting with the farmer leaders of 26 Indian states today in Pragati Bhavan to discuss about the challenges in the agriculture sector in the country. He also took the suggestions from the farmers about the measures to be taken to improve the lives of the farmers.
The farmers were invited fo lunch and a documentary about the farmers in Telangana was screened for them. The farmer leaders asked KCR to implement all these techniques across the country and not in Telangana alone. A press note has been released today after the meeting was concluded. "The national leaders failed to solve the issues of the farmers even after the country receiving independence 75 years ago. It is important to stay united at any time of the struggle" told KCR. A total number of 100 farmers met KCR. They reached Siddipet on Friday and they will be on a research tour to Kaleshwaram project.
