Boat Mishap in Chandrababu's Godavari Tour:- The Godavari region in Andhra Pradesh is badly impacted and flooded due to the heavy rains in the recent days. Several remote villages lost contact with the state. Hundreds of people lost their homes and are struggling. The water in the low-lying regions is yet to get cleared. TDP Chief and ex-Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu paid his visit to the villages of Godavari region. He started his tour from Eluru district. He travelled in a topless vehicle from Ayodhyalanka region and TDP supporters gathered in large numbers to welcome the TDP Chief. With no scope to travel on road, TDP leaders arranged boats to reach the people.

All the leaders wore life jackets and travelled on boats. Chandrababu interacted with the locals and asked about their problems during his tour. Most of the people revealed that they are receiving no support from the government of Andhra Pradesh. Chandrababu promised to mount pressure on the AP government and grant the basic essentials to the people. A boat mishap took place after the boat reached the Rajolelanka region. The boat carrying TDP leaders clashed with another boat and some of the TDP leaders fell in water. Pithani Satyanarayana, Devineni Uma, Rama Raju, Manthena Satyanarayana Raju, Arumilli Radhakrishna along with the media personnel and the security personnel fell into the river.

The locals got alerted and brought them back. Most of them wore life jackets because of which no unexpected incident got reported.
