KCR to skip the Prime Minister's Meeting:- Telangana Chief Minister KCR is unhappy with the Centre after the BJP government failed to grant the MSP for the Telangana farmers in the Rabi season. KCR and the entire leadership of TRS staged protests in the national capital but the Centre never responded. The latest news says that KCR will not attend the joint conference of the Chief Ministers and the Chief Justices of the High Courts that will be chaired and inaugurated by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The meeting will take place on April 30th in Delhi. The officials' sources said that KCR decided to stay away from the meeting which will be a two days conference. Telangana's Law Minister A Indrakaran Reddy will attend the event from the state.
NV Ramana, the Chief Justice of India will chair this meeting. KCR also did not attend the video conference with Prime Minister recently when Modi wanted to review about the Covid-19 situation in the states. TRS and BJP also had a political clash during the Huzurabad Assembly by-election. The paddy procurement issue in the state turned out be a bigger tiff between the parties. The last conference was held on April 24th in 2016. The event is planned to discuss about the challenges in the Indian judicial system. KCR stayed away from both the video conferences of Narendra Modi this year which are planned to discuss about the Covid-19 situation in the respective states. KCR also did not receive Narendra Modi when he landed in Telangana on February 5th to launch the Statue of Equality.
