Indian Coronavirus daily continues to dip down:- After touching the 3.5 lakh mark in the daily reported cases in India, the wave saw a decline this week. Close to 2.5 lakh cases are reported on a regular basis and the tally came down further. A total number of 2,35,532 new cases are reported in India in the last 24 hours and the surge is slowly decreasing. There are talks that the people are spending time in home isolation and most of them with symptoms are not ready to take up the coronavirus tests. The death toll has been increasing on a regular basis and 871 deaths are reported in the country in the last 24 hours. The total number of recoveries in the country are said to be 3,35,939.
There are 20,04,333 active cases in the country and this is equal to 4.91 percent of the total cases that are reported for coronavirus. The daily positivity rate dipped down and it stands at 13.39 percent. The total number of vaccine doses that are administered in India for now are 1,65,04,87,260. The total recoveries reported in India are 3,83,60,710 and the death toll is said to be 4,93,198. After the government lifted the restrictions, Delhi Metro started operating on weekends from today. The death tally in Maharashtra has seen a huge jump and rose to 103 which is highest since September 1st 2021. As per the reports from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), the total samples that are tested on January 28th are said to be 17,59,434 and the samples that are tested in total are 72,57,74,705.
