AP CID issues summons to Raghu Ramakrishnam Raju:- Fire brand leader and Narasapuram MP Raghu Ramakrishnam Raju deferred with the leading YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh and he has been criticizing the government for their failures. Raghu Ramakrishnam Raju was targeted, arrested and was tortured after which he was granted bail from the Supreme Court of India. Raghu Ramakrishnam Raju recently announced that he would resign for his position and set a deadline for resignation to contest again from the same constituency. The Andhra Pradesh CID officials served summons for Raghu Ramakrishnam Raju and he was asked to appear before the agency on January 17th.
Raghu Ramakrishnam Raju was booked last year and the agency asked him to appear for the investigation. A team of CID officials of AP reached the residence of the MP in Gachibowli, Hyderabad to serve the notices. Cases have been registered against Raghu Ramakrishnam Raju as per the sections 153 A, 505, 120B and 124A. The cases are booked against Raghu Ramakrishnam Raju after he started criticizing the AP Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy and the government of Andhra Pradesh. Soon, Raghu Ramakrishnam Raju interacted with the press saying that he was asked to appear before CID during the Sankranthi holiday season. He said that he was targeted personally and he had nothing much to do with the case.
Raghu Ramakrishnam Raju said that the government is scared about his visit to Narasapuram during the holiday season and about him contesting in the bypoll in Narasapuram.
